Last week our two football teams headed to Kilkeel to take part in a competition in the South Down League.
It was a very frustrating day for the first team. Playing some great football they just failed to qualify from their group, drawing 3 and winning 2. They just couldn't put the ball in the back of the onion bag.
The second team did really well. It was the first time many of the boys had played for the school. They won 1 and lost 4 by the odd goal each time. Special mention goes to Harry Johnston who pulled off some great saves - our very own big Pat Jennings.
