QUADRUPLE QUEST COMPLETE
31st May 2024
This afternoon the boys and girls headed to Lurgan to take part in the National 7 a-side Finals.
The girls worked really hard to draw with Maralin, Bocombra from Portadown and Ballymacash from Lisburn and lost narrowly to the eventual runners up and winners, Kings Park from Lurgan and Lishnasharragh from Belfast.
The boys won their first four matches beating Bocombra, St Mary’s Newcastle, Londonderry PS and Linn PS from Larne. In their last match against St Matthew’s from Belfast, a draw or a win was enough to see them crowned champions.
Fair Hill went 1 0 up, only for St Matthew’s to equalise. However, the boys held on for a well deserved draw and a very important point to see them crowned the National Champions for Medium Schools.
Well done to both teams. You were great ambassadors for your school - on and off the pitch.
