The P7’s are developing their coding skills this half term. They have set up a maze and have used their coding skills to programme the mouse to move around and through different obstacles.
We have to work out forward commands, reverse, 90 degree turns, clockwise and anti clockwise, all in one long list. We are using the language of coding and understanding what the terms mean.
Debugging is when they find an issue in the program they have written and repair it. Algorithms are the instructions that children input into the device to solve a problem. In this unit Maths and ICT skills are combined with fun.
