P1 have been practising their rhyming words and this week, we decided to have a go at writing our own poem. We read the poem "Here a bear, there a bear" and used it's structure to help us write ours:
Here a bear, there a bear.
Everywhere there’s a bear.
Bears in the bathroom,
Bears at the sink.
Bears in the canteen
Having a drink.
Bears in the classroom,
Bears having play.
Bears having such a wonderful day.
Bears in the library,
Bears reading books.
Bears in the kitchen helping the cooks.
Bears on the green pitch,
Running a race.
Watch them run past Grace and Jace!
Bears here, bears there.
There are bears everywhere!
