Last week our two football teams (one made up mostly of P7s and the other P5s and P6s) headed to St Columban’s PS, Kilkeel.
Both teams played some super football and qualified from their group unbeaten.
In the first semi-final the P5/6 team lost narrowly by a penalty kick 1 - 0 to a strong Annalong team.
In the other semi-final the other team drew 0 - 0 with Kilkeel. Unfortunately Kilkeel won 6 - 5 on penalties.
We were all disappointed but not discouraged and are already looking forward to our next competition in May in Donard Park, Newcastle.
