Last Thursday the football team headed over to Cheney Park to take part in the fifth and last Evo Soccer competition.
With over 20 teams taking part, the top 6 teams in the league ( Bridge Integrated, Fair Hill, Abercorn, Tandragee and Ballydown) were grouped together, with the top two going forward into the final in a playoff to be champions.
The boys were fabulous, never lost a match and went into the final to play Bridge Integrated.
Before the match we knew we had to beat them to be certain of winning the league. Unfortunately the match ended 1 - 1 and we had to settle for second place overall.
The boys were very disappointed to come so close, but are already looking forward to the next competition.
Well done everyone. You did your school proud.
